In this practice interview i have noticed many faults one of the problem is that we had filmed too much of the background this is meant that we were able to see more of what was around the room to improve this next time i will film the interview ensuring that the subject is more dominant in the framing.
Another problem in this interview is the talking space, both me and louis were on the same side so when it came to cross cutting this looks like we are not being filmed at the same time this problem could be improve by ensuring that next time we film making sure that the talking space is right and left.
Another problem that I had noticed when looking at this interview is the mise-en-scene as the background was very messy with bottles and untidy computers this ultimately looks unprofessional to improve this next time I would ensuring that the surrounding are tidy as presentable this could also be reduced is the camera focus is more dominant on the subject another problem was that the interviewer had looked informal as he was wearing his jacket.
there are many good aspect of this interview one of them being the lighting. before filming the interview we had chosen to use natural lighting this had given the overall positive outcome as we are able to see the interviewer clearly we also filmed away from the light.
Another strong convention of the interview is the sound as it is clear. when filming the interview we had used a microphone this was placed on the table directly beneath me and louis. it was important that we had used a microphone as the location we had filmed had high celling and would have caused our voices to echo.
